Mission Statement

We offer a deep sense of home that is warm, welcoming and accepting. Worship expresses our gratitude for God's unimaginable grace. We seek to bring every age into discipleship, nurture all God's people, listen for God's call in the midst of our lives, witness to the presence of God's Kingdom in our world as we engage in mission, and to 'see Christ in the face of others.'

Verse of the Day
Christmas Cantata
Join us on Sunday, December 21, at the 11 AM Worship Service for "On This Shining Night," a contemporary arrangement woven into the service to glorify the coming of Jesus - the Light of the World. Presented by our Chancel Choir, members of the Festivo Bell Choir, and Orchestra, these reflections in song, narration and orchestral interludes focus on the miracle that is Jesus' birth.
Christmas Joy
One of the ways Presbyterians have traditionally responded to the news of God's great gift to us is to share our gifts through the Christmas Joy Offering, which will be collected on Sunday, December 21st. The Offering supports racial ethnic education at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges, and also helps families of active and retired church workers meet unexpected needs through the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions. As we celebrate this good news of great joy - that a Savior has been born to us - may our gifts bear joyful witness to God's uncontainable love.
Christmas Eve Worship Schedule
Worship for Wednesday, December 24th:

4:30 p.m. - Family Worship: this child-friendly service tells of Jesus' birth through story and song. With Children's Choir and Handchime Choir

6:30 p.m. - Lessons and Carols: a joyous celebration, with familiar carols and beloved scripture. With the Angel Choir and the Festivo Bells.

8:30 p.m. - Lessons and Carols: we share traditional carols and scripture readings, with music led by the adult Chancel Choir.

10:30 p.m. - Meditative Communion Service: a quiet service remembering our Savior's incarnation
. This candle-light service provides space to ponder the wonder of the mystery of the Word-made-flesh.
Food Pantry
Food, glorious food... When you shop for your upcoming holiday meals, remember those in need. There are some great sales going on, and an extra jar of peanut butter or canned corn in your grocery basket can mean the world to a hungry child. Bring your donations to FPC's "shopping cart" located in Heritage Hall, and we'll make sure it gets to the food pantry. Thanks!
