MISSION: an active demonstration of God’s love and care in the world
Our church is on an exciting journey to answer God’s call for more direct contact with those we seek to serve. Through our congregational discernment process, we identified the call to address the unmet needs of children and their families who are hungry, homeless, or who need our special support and caring.
This outward journey of service, sustained by our inward journey of faith is engaging our whole congregation in developing more heart, understanding, and commitment to mission. As we more actively put our faith to work, we are:
Making a positive difference in our world;
Transforming our personal faith;
Building caring relationships within our congregation and the wider world.
You can participate through your:
PRAYERS: Giving your personal prayers of support for the children of the world.
LOVE AND SUPPORT: Making a special effort to know and show caring to children at church, in your neighborhood, and those you meet in the community.
