For more than 40 years, Presbyterian Women at First Presbyterian Church in Granville have put on a church-wide event to raise money to support local, national, and global mission efforts. It started as a Bazaar, morphed into The Country Fair, became the Holiday Fair, and is now the Holiday Harvest Fair. Through the years you, the congregation, have helped us with donations of your time, talents, energy, and yes, your money. And now I am once again asking for your help!
This year the Fair will happen on Saturday, November 12, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. As I write this, we have a little less than seven weeks until the Fair. We need your help to bake pies for lunch and other baked goodies of all kinds for the Bakery, bring your attic treasures for Grandma's Attic, be Kitchen Elves for meal production, servers for the dining room, and help with clean-up. Your monetary donations help to defray our operating costs. And most of all, we need your presence at the Fair on Saturday, November 12 with your families and friends, eating and shopping😊!
The on-line Volunteer Sheet will be up and running from October 17 to November 4. You will find opportunities to work Thursday November 10, Friday November 11, and of course Saturday, November 12.
