As Reverend Bubar posted in the April 25 Messenger, we now have all of the information that we need to move forward, and at its April 22nd meeting, the Session approved the signing of the contract with Lincoln Construction. More detailed information will be coming in May. Many thanks to Brandon Wilson, Danny Hussey, and Marjory Trishman for their continued stewardship of this project!

The Door Access project is also moving along nicely under the leadership of Brandon Wilson. Fob sensors have been installed on the exterior doors, and Brandon is in the process of distributing fobs to those who need them.

At our March meeting, the Session also discussed how our congregation shows welcome and pastoral care for our LGBTQ members and friends. A team of Philip Everingham, Jack Burriss, Reverend Bubar, Barb Martin, No’el Fortner, Christie Vargo, Rick Scott, Jacob Palmer, and Karen Cowie has been assembled to explore how our church can address this issue.

In addition, at our April meeting, Elders Jeff Kurtz and Dan Volkema updated the Session on the Adult Faith Formation classes that they have participated in.
