CHANCEL CHOIR

The Chancel Choir, a dedicated 3o+ voice choir, sings weekly as well as Christmas Eve and special services. Public performances include Granville's Candlelight Walking Tour, held on the first Saturday in December. We are preparing a variety of music that reflects the worship of the congregation at First Presbyterian, and we look forward to singing for worship on Sundays when local coronavirus numbers decrease.

This winter/spring, we are rehearsing every Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30p.m. Also, if you need to leave early from rehearsal to get your children home to bed, we are more than willing and happy to work around schedules!

Contact Director of Music Philip Everingham for more information about the Chancel Choir.

HANDBELL CHOIRS

The Festivo Bells is a five-octave handbell choir that is open to high school students and adults. Advanced bell techniques such as martelato, singing bell and use of mallets are used in the repertoire.

This fall, we are meeting from 6:15pm-7:45pm. on Monday evenings in the music room. Along with ringing monthly for Sunday worship, we perform for the annual Granville Candlelight Walking Tour.

Our Jubellee Ringers are rehearsing this winter/spring at 4 p.m. on Mondays in the music room. This choir is for anyone who would like to learn handbell ringing. We also continue to share our gifts of ringing in worship and throughout the community!

Contact Director of Music Philip Everingham for more information about our handbell choirs.
