Saturday April 20 Presbytery Youth Gathering

Valley Zipline Tours in Hocking Hills

We will meet in the church parking lot at 10 AM, lunch is provided, and we plan to return from 3:30-4 PM. 1.5-hour Zipline - $50/person and waivers are required Also expected to attend: Newark 2nd Presby, Washington Courthouse, Worthington, Athens, Reynoldsburg, and Mifflin/Gahanna Presby We are planning on 80 youths.

Team 78 visited the Warming Center – Drop-In Center at Holy Trinity Lutheran, Newark this past Sunday. 

Thank you, No’el Fortner for helping get us there!  We toured the site and learned some of the conditions people experiencing homelessness face daily.  The pastor, Deb Dingus shared that the centers provide a place to charge phones, grab a meal, rest from the elements and have a mailing address.

Team 78 made 50 bag lunches for the center and were then able to see where the lunches were used.   

This Sunday – March 17th ---Drop-in Center Tour

Meet in the Library after church.

We will drive to the Drop-in Center located at Trinity Lutheran Church in Newark. We will tour the building and return at 12:15-30pm.

Saturday, April 20th – Valley Zipline Tours
Presbytery Youth Event – join about 75+ other youth from mid-Ohio.
We will meet at church at 10 am – and return about 4 pm
Cost - $50/per youth (signed waiver required)
