Adult Faith Formation

Wonderful Wednesdays

Each Wednesday during the school year, we join together to share a meal, fellowship, and faith-filled conversation. All ages are invited to gather from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Centenary UMC Basement while our building is under construction. During our time together, we often sing, share conversation, and participate in planned activities with one another.

The dinner is provided! All you need to do is show up. We also ask that you RSVP if you can to help us plan for dinner. We hope that you will join us! For more information and to RSVP, reach out to Kristin Ream at kream@granpres.org.

Opportunities to Connect

Theology on Tap
Thursday, May 28 at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
at Trek Brewing Co. (1486 Granville Road, Newark)

Join us on the last Thursday of each month from May to August for drinks and theological discussion. This month: with America’s 250th anniversary coming up, we’ll explore the role of religion in the nation’s history and in public life. Facilitated by Wallace Bubar. As part of Trek Together, 10% of all sales will support the Community Drop-In Center at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Newark.

Adult Small Groups

Each group provides an opportunity to connect with God, one another, and who God is calling all of us to be! Groups engage various studies that guide their time and conversations together. We value diversity of thought, and look forward to growing alongside one another. Classes vary in topic and duration throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to attend these classes.
