Wonderful Wednesdays

Each Wednesday during the school year, we join together to share a meal, fellowship, and faith-filled conversation. All ages are invited to gather from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Centenary UMC Basement while our building is under construction. During our time together, we often sing, share conversation, and participate in planned activities with one another.

The dinner is provided! All you need to do is show up. We also ask that you RSVP if you can to help us plan for dinner. We hope that you will join us! For more information and to RSVP, reach out to Kristin Ream at kream@granpres.org.

Opportunities to Connect

PRISM Summer Series: Faith250
Beginning Sunday, May 31
from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Library

In recognition of the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding, PRISM will spend time this summer exploring classic texts that speak to the soul of America, including the Declaration of Independence, the Gettysburg Address, “America the Beautiful,” Emma Lazarus’ poem “The New Colossus,” and Frederick Douglass’ speech “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” All are welcome!

Thursday, June 25 at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
at Trek Brewing Co. (1486 Granville Road, Newark)

Join us on the last Thursday of each month until August for drinks and theological discussion. As part of Trek Together, 10% of all sales will support Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS). This month, all college students are invited to stay after for a Game Night!

Adult Small Groups

Each group provides an opportunity to connect with God, one another, and who God is calling all of us to be! Groups engage various studies that guide their time and conversations together. We value diversity of thought, and look forward to growing alongside one another. Classes vary in topic and duration throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to attend these classes.
