Visitor Information

We cannot wait to worship with you!

We hope to welcome you warmly and look forward to connecting. Whether it be through worship, small groups, classes, age-level ministries, music, or mission - there is always a place for you here!

Worship on Sundays

We worship each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. You can expect worship to include a focus on Scripture, prayer, and a sermon, as well as music from our various music ministries that will include hymns, anthems, piano, and organ. We partake in Communion on the first Sunday of the month, and during special services. Our worship is rooted in tradition and the rhythms of liturgy, while remaining open to new ways of encountering God and engaging our spirits.

If you’re interested in watching a video of worship ahead of your visit, please feel free to check out any of our previous worship services on YouTube.

Opportunities for Children

There are a number of ways we include Children in worship! We hope to partner with your family as your children grow in the midst of God’s goodness. To help your children experience worship fully, there are a number of ways we hope to include them:

  • Worship Bags: Located at the entrance of the Sanctuary, these bags contain activities that engage children in worship through Scripture. Please take one on your way into worship, and return it at the end to use week after week.

  • Prayground: Located in the Sanctuary at the tables, our Prayground offers a welcoming space where children can engage with their faith through Scripture-based hands-on activities during worship. This experience allows children to fully participate in worship, while also providing activities that engage their energy and curiosity.

  • “Word with the Children”: During most worship services, the children are invited forward to hear a message that is specifically created with them in mind. This moment will pair with the Scripture shared.

  • “The Rest of the Story”: After a “Word with the Children,” children ages Preschool to Third Grade are invited to a worship experience that meets them where they are at! They will leave the service with a staff member or trained volunteer, “worship” in the Library, and return before the end of the service. This offering takes place every Sunday, except the first Sunday of the month when the congregation takes part in Communion.

Opportunities for Adults

There are a number of groups, classes, and opportunities for adults to connect, learn, and serve, including on Sunday mornings. Please visit the Adult ministries page for more information.

Where is the best place to park?

While finding parking in the village can sometimes be challenging, we have a parking lot located directly behind the church as well as on-street parking available on both Broadway and Main Street. Most Sundays, people find available parking within a block of the church.

Will there be coffee?

Yes! Join us for Coffee Hour after worship near the tables in the Sanctuary.

Another Way to Connect - Wonderful Wednesday

If you’re looking for a different kind of church experience, Wonderful Wednesday might be for you. Each Wednesday during the school year, we join together to share a meal, fellowship, and faith-filled conversation. All ages are invited to gather from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Centenary UMC Basement while our building is under construction. This is a great way to connect with others and build relationships around a table.
