Children’s Faith Formation Kick Off
Wednesday, September 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
at First Presbyterian Church
Weekly opportunities for Kindergartners through Sixth Graders will kick off on Wednesday, September 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the church. Each week, children are invited to participate in a curriculum called “Dungeons and Dragons” alongside other children and trusted adults. Pick up from Granville Elementary is available - please fill out the permission slip below, and return it to the school.

Wall Build with Habitat for Humanity and Second Presbyterian Church of Newark
Saturday, September 12 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon
at Second Presbyterian Church of Newark
The Newark Community will join together in the Second Presbyterian Church Parking Lot to assemble the walls of an entire home! These walls will be used by Habitat for Humanity - MidOhio to build a home in Newark. The build will take place on Saturday, September 12 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, and all ages 10+ are needed! 70-90 volunteers will be needed to complete this job. Please sign up here!
Club 456 on a Mission

Drop Off & Pick Up from the Church
All Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Graders are invited to join us for Club 456 on a Mission as we serve at the Y Healthy Kids Network Backpack Program, play games, and eat dinner at Wendy’s. Please bring $10 for dinner, and RSVP to Ellen Clark at eclark@granpres.org so that we can coordinate rides.

After the Mission Fest festivities, travel with us for our 4th annual Rise Against Hunger. Our church has been such a big part of this ministry, helping package 10,000 meals. We will arrive at 12:45 p.m. and the packing begins promptly at 1:00 p.m.

Our handbell choirs will be playing three concerts in Dublin, Cork, and Sligo next summer, and you’re invited to join the tour from June 15-24, 2027! While in Ireland, we’ll be visiting Killarney, Waterford, Kilkenny, the Cliffs of Moher, and Dublin, and so much more. We have room for 15 more people to join us, and we would love for it to be you!
